Career opportunity:
Our subsidiary, Harbourfront Wealth Council, is looking to hire a permanent full-time Portfolio Administrator on our Millar Private Wealth team based in Ontario. Reporting to the Lead, Estate & Family Wealth Planning, the ideal candidate must have a meticulous attention to detail, possess a positive attitude, and have exceptional interpersonal skills.

You will be responsible for:

Preparing account opening documents.
Processing client account transactions.
Completing financial requests, i.e., wire transfers and deposits, etc.
Reconciling client accounts.
Fee reconciliation.
Maintaining records and files in accordance with regulatory guidelines according to established formats. Assisting with client inquiries and meetings.
Utilizing various custodial or third-party software programs for client management and administration. Maintaining client correspondence records and databases.
Producing timely and accurate reports/documentation as required.
Assisting with client meetings, preparation of presentation/meeting materials, correspondence, creation of reports, spreadsheets and the completion of special projects.
Keeping the electronic client documents stored on the network up-to-date and located in the appropriate directories according to existing procedures.
Maintaining investment forms, product information, presentation materials, investment fund descriptions and historical rates of return.

The ideal candidate for this position has:

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the financial industry,
Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CS)
Experience utilizing Ndex and NBIN systems.
Advanced computer skills including proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and the ability to learn new programs.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

Salary Range: $75,000 to $90,000 per annum (actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
