Overview: Our KJH Investors Private Wealth team, is seeking a detail-oriented Private Client Associate to work closely with a Portfolio Management Team, including three Portfolio Managers, in all aspects of managing high-net-worth client relationships. This role combines investment support, client service, and operational execution. The ideal candidate brings a client-first mindset, and a high degree of professionalism in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Portfolio Managers to support all aspects of client relationship management
Prepare and maintain client-facing materials, including presentations, portfolio reviews, and business updates
Follow up on client meetings and manage ad hoc client requests
Assist with projects related to investment strategy and client wealth management
Coordinate the onboarding and maintenance of client accounts, including documentation, transfers, and compliance updates
Process account transactions such as wire transfers, cheque requests, contributions, and disbursements
Execute trades
Coordinate the preparation, review and distribution of quarterly portfolio reports
Compile, review and distribute annual tax packages
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information across CRM and portfolio management systems
Ensure the accuracy and quality of all client reporting
Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless execution and compliance adherence
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a private client, wealth management, or investment advisory environment
Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC®) is an asset
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Outlook, and CRM systems
Experience with portfolio management and reporting platforms such as d1g1t; familiarity with custodial platforms like NBIN (National Bank Independent Network)
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organized, analytical, and solutions-oriented
Collaborative team player with a high degree of initiative and accountability
Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000 per annum (actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
